do text romances work?

i just would like to know your experiences (if you have any..) with this kind of start-up in a relationship, do text romances work in you or it will never be?
as for my opinion, text romances work if the people involve in a relationship wanted and do anything for it to work.. cellphone is beign made up as a telecom device to connect people so, it is still depends to us ..

funny that you asked because that is my problem right now, i have been texting this guy fo r 3 years and we never really met , and we have all this interesting conversations and advice to one another and me being able to open up to him, and right now i am faced with the dilemma of actually forgetting him, because what we have is just texting, i mean its justwords are they real , would he really be there for me, is texting romance the truth?
so i dont really know i have come to have this feelings for him that only he could do but its just by texting so im way confused, i actually have stopped texting him for almost a week now and its so hard and lonely to do that,but i would love to face reality.

what is the reason for you to stop texting him? haven't you tried to meet up? if you think he's really worth for you to try the relationship you must be able to open your doors to all the possibilities of hurting.. but you must also be careful be sure that someone is with you when you're meeting him, it is good to be safe..you can only determine if the feeling is real when you finally met him and got to know him personally.. i wanna share, my friend met his husband thru texting, and he's a good guy, lucky for her.. hope same thing to you..

wowwww 3 years long enough... i think if i were in your shoe i will take the chance of meeting him, you'll never know if everything will work out for both of you if you will not take the risk of all the things you are scared of. this is reality sister, in life, most of the time we have to do what we ought to do, i dont want to regret the things that i didn't do just because I'm afraid. yes, i agree with you friend..some text romance really work..there are others really wanted to be involve with that kind of cute romance but others failed also..it's really depends on you or otherwise, you will get hurt in the end..be careful!!!

yes it depends on us..but its really a risky one..v should notbelive such love?? n i don thin tat would b calld as love..sorry to say but its not true
