how do you feel when a fren failed to recognise you after a gap of 4, 5 years?

Hi there, well it never happened on me yet but i find it very weird and yeah very sad. It's just a 4 or 5 years gap, and so how they supposed to forget or not recognize a person, unless you have changed a lot on your physical appearance, don't you? I will understand that person, if she did not recognize you, because you have changed a lot with your appearance, like for example, you are chubby before, and now you are very slim and became more prettier, how's that? I have actually had this happen to me about two weeks or so ago. I was in a bar, I don't go very often, and had never seen him there before. I used to kinda date this guy, we hung out like three or four times a week, and then he fell off. I ran into him and I was like hey how are you. he was like good and then when he went to introduce me to his new girl, he totally slipped on the name and I had to tell him. At least he got the first letter right.:O I was like wow how do you forget someone that easily? But then I thought about it, and I have done the same thing. My friend introduced me to this guy and then like almost 3 years later I ran into hom at their weedding, and he was like dang girl you look good, and I was like thank you and he said you don't remember me? I said no should I? I felt bad after they told me who he was, but of course it was after he left and I could not apologize. LOl So NO you are NOT the only one this thing happens to.
