The Garrison

I would like to know how many of you at mylot know or have seen a place in Jamaica called the Garrison. I was watching a documentary on Channel 4 UK TV last night about police corruption in Jamaica and they showed film of the area the garrison. I think it is shocking to think that people are living in homes made out of corrugated iron. What in this day and age this is how people live. When so many of us have bricks and mortar or homes built of something substantial and others live like this. What is wrong with us . It is disgusting. I would like to know what your thoughts are on the way some people are forced to live and if you have any ideas on what steps the authorities should take to change it. Thanks Denise
