Patches and Add-ons

As far as actual add-ons go, those are separate CD's that you have to buy from EA games or in local stores. Most of them are pretty good, add a lot of content and are worth the money. Personally I prefer to order them through EA games as they often offer discounts or bonuses for pre-ordering up-coming releases. If you are interested in several of these add-ons, be sure to install them in oder, otherwise there can be problems. I'm not sure what you are looking for as regards to patches, but the sites I've listed below are good resources for all sorts of custom content including cheats. Many of them require membership for full access, but they shouldn't coat you anything to sign up. Some sites have a mix of free downloads and fee-based downloads. Some of them have software that will let you unpack and put the downloads in their proper place more easily. And also, if you want to start making your own custom content, they'll have software that helps with that as well. I also recommend signing up with the official Sims site and getting their newsletter. That way you'll know of new software available ans might get some discount offers. Have fun with your Sims!
