You believe in "First impression Last"?

For me, first impression really don't last. I really try not to judge someone until i have atleast talked to them or somewhat got to know them. I think it's just really different for everyone. You can't really rely on what you see, if someone seems nice the first time you see them, it doesn't necessarily mean that they are nice until you talk to them and get to know them. After all looks can be decieving.
What is your input on this???

Hi Mbrown! First impressions goes two ways i think! The person you meet and the person meeting you. You can know how you feel about the person you met, but you don't know how the person feels about you right? Maybe you both dislike each other and you meet again and it becomes a good friendship. Yes first impressions are important in certain areas like business and getting jobs, but what i mean, is getting or giving another chance to know someone! If i met someone while i was having a bad day i guess i could make a bad first impression, but that wouldn't be the real me! I can't always trust my first impressions about someone or they about me! agree with that!!!i dont think first impression last cause you really need to know how consistent the person is and people change after the 2nd meeting.
