Yes so many times in my life...I think more than hundred of it. I made...I broke...I made ...I broke. and yes I agree with your words of declaration about;
"The MORE you try to FORGET... The MORE it HURTS..."
because you put "TRY". Don't TRY but just forget it.
OK now make it this way;
"The MORE I FORGET... The MORE my NEW COMERS"

If one has a tendency to take everything serious, then your quote is valid. As far as I am concerned, the more I forget and forgive, less it hurts. Because to forget and forgive is to get rid of the stuff from my mind. Like computer memory, he should get rid of unwanted and undesirable stuff. Then only the functioniing will bebetter.

But i guess.. Forgetting things that are really vital in your life is difficult.. Our Brain is different to a computer memory.. In computer, if we want to delete files,, important or not.. that is possible.. But in reality of life.. we cant dictate ourselves.. you have a good point.. but i guess not all people has the gift of easily getting rid of undesirable stuff you are referring to.. Thank you for your response...

well if you are trying to really forget the person then i must admit
that would hurt a lot. But if you try to just live you're life and not
try to be attached to him or her again then thats the real thing. The
common error of other persons is when they really try to forget
somebody that they stress themselves into. They drink alchoholics and
try to sleep it over but then it comes back again. The only effective
thing you can do is just live a life try to make yourself busy and be
happy with you're life.
