how to apply a job in hotels?

hi huys, i don't have any idea on how to apply as a hotel staff or attendant in hotels? are they directly hiring applicants who are walk in?and what are the qualifications for the said job? please help me, i really want to pusue a job in a 5 star hotel.. thanks in advance
