We know Italy is shaped like a boot; sometimes they're even called the boot country. But I just noticed it now, united states has a shaped too. Try to look the map of U.S., include Alaska when you look.
Clue, it's an animal shape.
Share to everyone what you found, I'm going to tell you what I found as soon as I think there are enough response from you guys.
Cheers!

Well to me North america looks like a dragon and South America looks like an elephant. If it's not the same as you see it just proves that we all look at things differently. I always think of Britain as being the shape of a kangaroo.

Hi there buddy, what's up?
This discussion of yours, made me to come up with some research to see the map of the US as i don't bother to look at it before. LOL
Anyway, i've got a US map taken from the internet and i actually rotated it vertically and as far as i have observed buddy, i think it's kinda looks like a Horse or a Cow.
I actually don't figure out the image that well, but yeah i think it looks like a HORSE, a Cow and even an ANT EATER. Yeah it could be an ANT EATER, i mean the big one, big ANT EATER! LOL
Hope i solved it.
Or if i did not, then PM me the answer ok? LOL
Godspeed,
Kiko

I'm gonna give you another chance, although I must say that I saw the Ant Eater resemblance too. But what I have in mind is closer, If you can just realize it.
Clue... Include Alaska when looking at the map, and dont rotate it. See it as it is, and work your imagination well.
Cheers Bud!
