I am wondering the different ways people use the + or - options or do you use them at all? Also what about when it comes to choosing your best responce how to you pick what makes forthe "best responce" I personally have giving + or - a few times but not that I have more info about it I will be giving out more + and - I personally do like to pick the best responce for my discussion but I dont do this right away. I try to wait until the discussion isnt really getting any new responce before I choose the best one. But I do read each and every one.=) So I am wondering what you all do. I have noticed that some discussions have the best responce already marked withing an hour or less ofthe discussions posted time, some are days or weeks later so What is your style?

We are all to rate other members positively, may they agree or disagree is not an issue. As long as they respond releavantly and acoording to the topic, they deserve a (+) for the efforts they just made.
For members to be rated negatively, it has to be a cheat, spam, or flaming other users. In short, posts that are against the guidelines should be reported and nrated negatively. Especially when topics are created that talks about mylot, people should all base their explanations according to what the admin has told us to do here.

Everyone that responds to my topics gets a +. I don't think I've ever given a response to one of my own discussions a -. I've never needed to. Every discussion I respond to gets a + unless there's something really wrong with it (like it's against myLot guidelines) but in that case I would be unlikely to respond and would probably report it instead.
I very rarely use the - rating. So rarely in fact I can't even think of the last time I did use it lol! I have reported people though but again not that often. It has to be a clear breach of the guidelines for me to do it.
As for best response I usually wait at least a couple of weeks. I think it's nonsense when people select best response within an hour or whatever. How can they possibly know that will be the best response they get?

Yes I dont can't think of anytime I have rated anything a (-) but I too have reported. But it really has to be bad for me to do so. I just recently started to rate discussions because I didn't know how important it really was. But now that I know I rate!

I give every response to my discussions a positive, weather I agree with them or not, because they have taken the time to respond to my discussion..I very rarely use the negative, although I have a couple a couple, because I have seen a one word response..I think that no effort was made in that...

I read and rate all responses to my discussions; if people take the time to respond to my discussion, then they deserve a +. When reading other peoples discussions, I also rate the responses, as it helps to get their rating star higher (unless the response is a yes/no answer or abusive).
I wait about 2 weeks so I get a good selection of responses to choose from before selecting best response, and I reply to each and every response. I figure that's a good stretch of time before selecting. I don't know how some people can select BR one hour after the discussion is posted.

hi! I read and give rate to those who give responses to my disscussions. I don't usually use (-). If there will be some violations, then I usually report them directly to the mods. I do give (+) to my responders if they give correct responce to the topic.

Yup, thats what we need to be doing to help one and other out with our ratings as well as our earnings. If we all take the few seconds to push a plus every now and then it will help us all out. (so it would seem) LOL Thanks for the comment!

Yep thats what I do as well, I wait for the discussion to cool off then I pick my best responce. I just recently started to rate discussions after reading so many discussions about the importance of rating. Thanks for the responce.

Hi there, what's been up t lately?
Anyway, well i am a type of mylotter who always use the positive rate and marked as the best discussion features here.
All of the responses that i have got in my own discussion always have a positive rates from me and whoever gave me the best or even accurate response, i'll mark it as the "best response".
And whenever i see some good responses in other discussions, then i always tend to rate those as positive as well.
There's nothing wrong of giving people here some positive rates for their responses, as it's also for their efforts of giving a good quality responses.
Have a nice day ahead from Kiko and happy posting and earning here in MyLot and Godspeed.
