It is 2nd wedding anniversary today. We have been together five years really, but only got married two years ago.
We celebrated by having breakfast in bed, which was eggs & bacon & plunger coffee.
My husband gave me a beautiful big bunch of flowers.
For tea I am cooking his favourite, a chicken roast with roast vegetables.
We bought two bottles of wine too, white shiraz & a red, both by Banrock Station.

congratulations, jennybianca.
it seems you are living a happy life with your husband. i have been with my boyfriend for 4 years, and i dont' want to marry him in recent years. frankly, i am afraid of marriage. i dont' know why i have such feeling, but i really fear it very much. besides, we have no enough money for our new house.
do you like your curren life? what's the big different between married life and single life?

If you are already living witrh your boyfriend, then there is nothing to be worried about with marriage. It's the same. But it does cost money to be married, even in a registry office.
I suppose the biggest differenc e betweenn being single & being married, is the level of comittment & have someone else in your life.

Hope your wedding anniversary was wonderful. Flowers are a great item to receive to start the day off in a great mood. I love flowers and my husband usually gives me a potted plant to celebrate. I hope the rest of the day is special.

A potted plant is a good idea, as it keeps much longer than fresh flowers.
We had a lovely day.

Congratulations Jenny. I just hope you two have a blast in the coming years and for the rest of your life. Just curious to know if your life has changed after marriage or its almost the same as it was before.
Enjoy life to the fullest and love living forever.

Thank you. Our life didn't really change much after marriage, as compared to before.

Congratulation to your wedding anniversary:) I and my husband just celebrated our 1st anniversary. Although we were busy doing work or study and have no time to go shopping, have dinner in restaurant, I am glad that I can be with him now and for ever. Thank him for his love and help on my life.

You do not have to celebrate your wedding anniversary with presents, etc. That is not what counts. As you said, it is the love that counts.
