Should America play world police

I think we should stop messing with other countries. I am all for pulling our aid, our people and our money out of these countries we've 'bullied'. I suppose some other country will help...yeah right. Let the rest of the world go broke because American consumers didn't buy their products anymore. Slam our borders and ports shut tight. Of course I suppose some other country will pick up the slack when we don't buy... So far it seems like the majority of 'innocent' lives being lost are our servicemen. This isn't a 'normal' war, where you can tell who the enemy is. They hide and use car bombs and strap bombs to their women and kids to take out US soldiers. Color me unimpressed. I DO have to wonder, though....If the US hadn't added her firepower during WWII, exactly WHERE would Hitler have stopped? I guess our 'bullying' was helpful then....
