My three-year old son has knock knees. I'm worried when he runs fast because he might be injured or the more his feet and ankles roll inward. Do anyone has insights to correct knock knees?

HI there,
have you taken him to see the doctor? because he's still young and his bones are still growing, the doctor may be able to do something like splint his legs so that they grow straight.
Saying that, I havent heard that knock knees have ever been a problem for someone before. Have you tried searching the internet for information? I'm sure that there has to be a site or two out there about it.
Sorry I couldnt be more help.

Sure you can add me :)
I think medicine has advanced to the point now where if they diagnose it early enough, they could probably do something to correct the problem with your sons knees while the bones are growing. As soon as you can, get him referred to an orthopaedic doctor and see what he says :)

Young ones may grow out of it. Careful how they sit. They should wear good shoes with good soles that are not worn unevenly (knock-kneed persons tend to have hyperpronated feet.
Find a good Pediatric Podiatrist who will evaluate your child & determine if Posture Control Insoles are indicated & when.
