Ever since I had children I gained a lot of weight. I'm too lazy to exercise so I tried a lot of diet pills and diet milks but nothing worked for me. I tried boxing and playing badminton and it worked but I always experience headaches and high blood pressure so I stopped. Suddenly, I felt depressed. I don't like to attend reunions, parties, or any gatherings who knew me before I married. My confidence level became low and I realized one thing....I hate myself. Do you feel that way too? What do you think I'll do?

ohhh...at least you have kids already. i just got married recently and am already feeling that way. no kids yet, and not even pregnant. i know what to do, the problem is, i don't want to do them. but one thing that i have decided never to do again is to take those diet stuff, like pills, teas, etc. i don't know what their effects will be. but you know, the singular most effective thing to do would be to follow what my mother did--at first, she stopped eating rice, just bread or oat meal. no softdrinks. eventually, i got her to join the gym. she has been exercising everyday since then. she lost about 35 lbs already and looked stunning during our wedding. actually, she got into being a health buff because she got hospitalized for high blood pressure. not wanting to go to the hospital ever again, she launched into this health regimen. and she has been on it since the start of 2004. well, i guess, if we don't want to go to the hospital, we can follow her example. God bless you!:-)

yeah i have 2 adorable kids. my daughter will be 10 years old this october and my son is 3 years old. i'm just too lazy to exercise. maybe because i don't have enough motivation to do that. ohhh..how i wish. i also took a diet pill that matches my system. it has no side effects like headaches and no worries for people who have high blood pressure. but...i stopped taking it coz i'm immuned already. my weight loss stopped after 6 months taking that pill. good for your mom. yeah maybe i have to think that i don't want to be hospitalized. thanks for your insight.

sorry i didn't experience that when i was pregnant. the hardest part of my being pregnant was when i can't breathe properly because my baby was squeeshing my lungs. if you want to be sure that you're pregnant, visit your ob-gyne or request for an ultra-sound. that's the most safest that you can do for now.

I am going to Weight Watchers and have been walking with my husband 3-4 times a week. I have lost close to 10 lbs in the past 2 months. Weight Watchers provides a positive environment and I highly recommend it.

you're lucky your husband supports you by joining you in walking. i always invite my husband to join me in walking around the village but he's always tired of work. i hope he can support me by doing what your husband is doing to you.
