do you think india should concentrate more on other sports.

Its just that cricket is marketed extremely well in our country.It was not the government but a private organization BCCI which is responsible for the huge popularity of cricket in India and also for the huge amount of money involved in cricket. Its up to the government to give sports persons reasons to stick around than go for some other job.Lets be true here , a soccer player in Indian national team earns less than a Ranji cricket player.The state of affairs is sad.But something ought to be done like providing more payment to players and to provide more infrastructure and facilities for the development of football in India.

I think you are right.. well i'm not an indian citizen but i do knew a few about your country.. but i'm not an expert. Just sharing my point of view. Dont stop concentrating the cricket..India well known for that sport and also the hockey. But India also need to promote other sports activities.. and encourage more youths to partake in such sports activities to groom new sportsmen and sportswomen.

certainly government should focus on upcoming olympics and other sports . but cricket will at the top all the games in india , no doubt about that
