Yes I live 2 blocks away (can't get much closer than that). I will be moving though within the next 6 months. I'm looking to buy an acreage. It's only about a 5 minute drive out of town so that still pretty close.

I live close to some members and far away from others. I prefer to live close. My daughter and grandchildren just moved about 30 minutes from me. I miss them, they used to live within walking distance. The grandkids would walk over all the time. I really miss that.

Yes I do. I live 10 minutes from my brother Ben, and only 15 minutes from my sister Lina and My parents who live across the road from each other. We are planning on moving come the new year though and then I will probably be at least a hour or more away and I am sure I will miss the convenience of being so close to them now. We are moving so we can have better income and educational opportunities for us and our kids.

I live in California, and I'm from Pennsylvania. I moved away when I graduated high school to get away from the small town life, then I got married so I ended up staying here.

My biological fathers family is from a little itty bitty town called Willow Hill in Illinois. No joke, my family takes up the entire town, thats how small it is. My biological father moved from there and my brothers and sister dont go back there very often due to how it is there. I dont think i could have lived in such a small town. I think there is about 5 roads there lol

No, I don't. I have moved around because I've taken different educations, so the past 7 years I've never lived closer to my parents than a 6 hour drive. I'm done with my education now, but we are planning to move to where my girlfriends family lives, which is even further away from my family. Guess you have to make some choises in life... I wouldn't mind having my family closer by, but since that's not possible, I'll just have to take my time to visit whenever I can.

We live 12 miles from our daughter, 1 1/2 hours from our son, and 2 1/2 hours from my mother. For the past 4 years we lived in Tennessee. We liked it there, but we were so far away from our loved ones. I think it would have been easier if we had had our children with us. Anyway, we finally decided to move back to Iowa where we could see everyone more than once or twice a year.

I live about 5 hours away from my mother. I actually moved to this town because she wanted me to be closer to her and then she moved! LOL! I think it worked out for the best. For a while there she was just a little too close.

We live with my mom right now too. Its good this way because we both go to school and she gets to see her grandson every day. Besides my mom would get lonely by herself. lol. We are moving out this summer sometime.

No, I do not live near my family. I am engaged to someone in the military. He has been stationed in several different states as well as a different country. I moved along with him to these different states. The good thing is both our families live in the same state. So we can go back and visit any time. They can come out here any time as well. Of course airline tickets are expensive so it is hard, but as far as me seeing my own family, when he is shipped out to another state I often fly home to visit.
