I prefer hot showers. Hot showers tend to relax my muscles and open up my pores. In the end I feel cleaner and more relaxed after a nice hit shower. Cold showers make me tense. The only reason I can think of for wanting a cold shower (myself) is for refreshing purposes. In that case, I would just prefer to splash cold water on my face.

To be perfectly honest, I truly feel that it really actually depends.
Normally, I wouldn't really mind whether my shower is hot or cold, as long as the water is absolutely clean and could be easily used for bathing.
However, there are times when I would prefer to have a hot shower more than a cold one.
When I have just finished working out or playing a basketball game, for instance, I would normally tend to take a hot shower than a cold one perhaps because my body is emitting so much body heat that immediately extinguishing or getting rid of that consuming body heat by instantly taking a cold shower would not be the best thing to do.
So, in a way, to somehow gradually taper my body heat, I opt to take a hot shower first, and when feel that my body is already completely ready, I turn off the heater and take a normal shower.
At times, though, I am a whole lot more inclined to take a cold shower than a hot one, especially when it's really extremely humid.
In response to your main question, thus, my preference in regard hot or cold shower clearly entirely depends on varying situations.

I always prefer a hot shower. I really don't like it when I wake up in the morning and decide to take a shower and find out that the water is really cold. If the water is cold, I try to finish taking a bath fast. I don't want to spend more time in bathroom because I know I'll feel cold once I stay longer. So, if my mom is not busy I always ask her to prepare the hot water for me.

I always take cold water shower during daytime as I live in a tropical country that the weather is quite hot during daytime.
I only take warm water shower if I am sick or not feeling well. I do take warm water shower during rainy season especially at nighttime before I go to bed.

It depends on the weather. If its summer I would rather have a cold bath to refresh my tired body but if its raining a hot bath is a must.

I would have to say hot shower. I could touch the cold water for 1/2 second and it makes me hop up and down. I guess you need alot of will power to be able to stand the cold water.

Hot, but given that getting a hot shower takes time and consumes electricity, I have to settle for a cold one more often than not.

hot shower is actually good for our body.hot showers actually help people with arthritis. I have arthritis, as well as a few other orthopaedic issues, and hot springs, spas/hot tubs, even heated pools, aid people with these problems, and help them with movement. Hot water does relax you, and even babies are born into a pool of warm water. People have sought the warmth of hot springs for many generations, looking to ease pain, provide more movement in their joints, and simply to sit and relax. Where I live, there are many springs available, and those hot water pools are constantly filled with people of all ages, some seeking to ease bodily pain, others to ease and rest their mental bodies.
