My final exam is coming soon. Only 2 months left and i still have lots of things have not study yet. Everytime when i want to study, i will feel sleepy. It makes me can't concentrate on my study. Besides that, i will always think of my computer and feel like playing. Can anyone have ways to cope with this kind of problems?

I have the same problem. I think that you should try to study in short sessions. I take my notes with me and glance at them while I am waiting to be seen for appointments, free time in class and try to tackle one or two sections at a time each day for about 45 mins. Maybe it will help you too.

Perhaps you should set a goal for yourself, and when you are sleepy think about it, it may bring you forth. As soon as I am concerned, if only 2 months left for an exam, I will restrict myself, maybe I will list some rules-for example, within the 2 months I will not go shopping, watch TV,and so on-then,when the exam finishes ,I will reward myselt with my favorit things.Have a try and good luck!

I understand what you are feeling right now. I was a student too at one point in my life. Being a student requires you to give full commitment to your studies and this is not an easy challenge to fulfill. However to overcome this problem you will have to have a strong will in your heart. Nobody can help you but yourself. If somebody else makes a time table for you, but if you are still lazy all of these will not work for you.
The most important thing is to make yourself determined that you want to study and pass all the examinations with flying colors. You can make somebody whom you admire as an inspiration for your to start studying. As for me, I studies together with one of the best student at my school. I made her my rival in studies, and I challenge myself to beat her.
In that way, I was aspired and I became constant in studying. I put away all my desires to play games whatsoever. Actually to be successful in life there are many sacrifices you have to do, and putting aside what you like the most is one of those sacrifices that you have to learn to adapt.
I hope my little suggestion can help you. Wish you all the best in your coming examination. Have a nice day to you, blackie921!

I have been experiencing what you are experiencing too. Like I know that I have exams for the next week and I have about 7 days to study but I just can't concentrate and the day before the exams.. that's the time I start to study and I end up cramming to finish studying for my exams the next day. I think the best way to make you study hard is motivation. You just have to motivate and force yourself to study. Just think of it that there's only about 2 days left for you to study instead of 2 months so that you will be motivated and forced to study. :) Just concentrate. Prevent yourself from turning on your computer and end up getting tempted to play games rather than start studying for your exams. Best of luck to you!

Thanks for your respond. I really need something that can motivate me. But i just can't find one. I really need to force myself to study hard and concentrate. I will try to do as what you said. I will uninstall my computer games so that i will not play again before my final exam. Actually now is also exam time. But i'm not mylotting but not studying.Sigh...

To be quite sure, that really seems to be a seemingly daunting problem, blackie921.
In my humble opinion, though, I truly feel that you should first try to set your priorities in life very straight.
Try to ask yourself: what do I really want?
You have to begin with this very basic question because this will serve as your motive power--the powerful force that will essentially move you to do the correct things that you should really do to ultimately achieve what you actually want in life.
To put it in context and to be more specific, though, let us consider your particular situation.
If you only have 2 short months left to fully prepare for your final exams, and your end goal is to get very high grades, if not get perfect scores, in all your exams, then you must obviously have the necessary strength of character and self-discipline to insulate or immunize yourself from all the distractions and temptations around you like easily yielding to the snares of sleep or playing computer, and you should also fully focus all your energies on your studies and adequately prepare yourself for your final exams by constantly studying your lessons, especially those that would most likely come out in your final exams.
If you truly know what you want and you could really clearly visualize what you want in your mind's eye, then you could certainly achieve it.
Come to think of it, if you know the why, you would surely know the how.
In other words, if you know your purpose or your goal (perhaps getting high grades in your upcoming final examinations, in this particular case), then the ways by which you could effectively attain such a clearly identified goal would perhaps more easily come to you.
In the end, I could really only hope that my suggestions could somehow help you, in any way, so that you would be able to easily overcome the minor challenges you're currently faced with, and ultimately conquer your final examinations.
