Pug delivered 6 puppies. 2 were weak and died after 3 days.

My pug delivered 6 puppies. Out of them 2 were very weak and died after 3 days.Is there any fixed formula to get healthy pups or this is the fact that few will be stronger and few will be weaker. Doctor said that you can not do anything in this case. This is always difficult to save these weaker puppies.

There usually is only one runt.
Pugs are difficult in the first few hours or days of life because of their breathing passages and nasal cavities. They can easily suffocate, and any little fluid build up can be fatal at this age.

I'm sorry to hear. I am guessing by saying 'weakest' puppies you are also meaning the 'runts' of the litter? We'll the best advice I can give is to make sure the pregnant mother eats good and healthy. When the pups are born... make sure 'runts' get a little extra feeding time and don't get pushed off the nipples by the other/bigger pups.
