Have you ever wondered how many songs have you heard in your life time? I tried but it is very difficult. So what I did is to compile my own top ten list of favourite songs:
I am I said I am - Neil Diamond
Holly Holy - Neil Diamond
Sounds of Silence - Simon & Garfunkel
The Boxer - Simon & Garfunkel
Toy Train - John Edmund
The Carnival is Over - The Seekers
Like Old Friends Do - ABBA
Wooden Heart - Elvis
My Friend the Wind - BZN
Last of the Callahan Boys - BZN
This list can change because nearly daily a song from long time ago suddenly pop up in your head.

Wow, this is really a very hard question, to be sure, especially since I truly enjoy listening to a lot of different songs spanning different genres and ages that simply condensing my list of favorites merely to ten would actually be quite difficult.
If I were to guess, though, my top ten list would perhaps include the following (in no particular order):
1. My Way--Sinatra;
2. Impossible Dream--Van Dross;
3. Go the Distance--Hercules soundtrack; not Bolton's;
4. Vivo Per Lei--Boccelli;
5. Imagine--Beatles;
6. Born Free--Monro;
7. Four Seasons--Vivaldi;
8. Unchained Melody--Presley;
9. We are the Champions--Queen;
10. I believe I can Fly--R.Kelly
Ultimately, however, as you've aptly said, "this list can change" as well.

Thanks to all those who responded. I must admit, once I completed my list of ten, out of the blue songs I nearly forgot came to mind. The main thing is we all could share one common thing the world wide over - our love for music.Thanks again to all of you.

3. The Waters Edge - 7Mary3
4. When Its Over - Sugar Ray

Not so much in any special order....fun question.

Yes, I actually had some fun deciding on which receive higher priority. It is also interesting that as your mood changes so will your favourite song. Actually one should compile such a list every day to see how the favorites will change.
