Do you prefer renting a home instead of buying?

I hate renting, because most landlords end up being slumlords instead, and they charge so much money to rent, and they think they have the right to say what you should wear, or not wear when you are home, and what you should do , or not do in your house. I want to own my own home instead it would be alot cheaper, and it would be mine no one could tell me how to dress, what to do I could pay half the money than you do for rent.

We rent too. I prefer to rent. My husband and I are young and I dont want to buy a house yet. I really dont know if this town is where I want to be. There are better opportunities for both of us other places. Better money, better schools, better houses. Right now renting is nice. I know that if I do find a better place I can just move. I dont have to sell my house or stay because im still paying on it.

I prefer to rent a small room coz it is really really cheap and I can choose the location I want and I am not focussed on just one place especially now that real estates are so expensive but I have just bought a vacation house in the province where I can stay to wash my clothes during the weekends and I plan to make it as my place of residence when I have no job or when the time comes when I could not work anymore coz I am too old or simply could not find anything.
