well im not trying to scare you but what you see on tv is nothing compared to the real thing cause its really really painful and it seems like its never gonna stop..like with my daughter it was 36 hours of non-stop pain..but i love her very much and its worth it..and the epidural helps alot cause after they give you that you dont really feel much..well until you have to start pushing.

My 14 year old daughter learned about childbirth and STD's in grade 8 last year. She doesn't want to have anything to do with either of them. Let's see how long she holds onto that mindset. Really, every mother will tell you the same thing. It is worth the pain when in the end you are holding that new life in your arms. When you are going through the pain you are doing just that - going THROUGH IT. There is an end on the other side. It might take longer than you had hoped, but the end result is a miracle. Mothers will also tell you that you will forget the pain. How else do you suppose women have been having children for thousands of years? And women having many, many children. My mother-in-law is a tiny woman and she gave birth to 8 children... 2 in one year. Yes, one in January and another in December. My mother had 5. I only had 2 children but would have had more. The miracle of feeling a life growing inside is amazing. Giving birth is just a means to an end. When I was 12 years old I saw childbirth on television and I wanted to have 6 children! Seeing that didn't turn me off at all. But if you really feel you couldn't handle it, there are other options if you really want to be a mother... surrogate mother or adoption. There is no other miracle greater than giving and bringing a life into this world.

Well its really hard to deliver a baby! although I have no kids yet! but I saw my sister how hard she feels.Makes me scared either and no plan to get pregnant at all because of what I saw when I was kid.
