have you tried letting go of someone becouse you love him/her?

Yes, I already did. My first and former boyfriend of almost four years was shocked when I told him that I was breaking up with him. But I guess it was in the back of his mind somehow; because he knew very well that I won't keep up with him if someone else, a child in particular, would approach me and asked or begged me to give up his father for his or her sake. More than six years ago, a woman called me up in the office and told me that she was pregnant and my former boyfriend was the father of her baby in her womb. She said that it was less than six months when they first met. I loved my boyfriend then. But I had to do the right thing. I confronted him and he was amenable of his mistakes.

I certainly have. It pains when I thought of it but there is joy when I think of the reason I had to give him up. It is certainly sad but we are still in the Asian culture where age gap and date/time of birth does play a part. IN my opinion, you will certainly let the person go if you realise that you it is better for him/her if he/she is with someone else instead of you -- IF you truly true the person and wish him/her well. If he/she is meant to be yours, he/she will be back even after you let him/her go. It may be days or months or even years later that he/she returns. It doesn't matter. What is important is that you have loved. LOL.

Yes I did. I have decided to let go of him because it is the proper thing to do, not because I had given up rather because I love him. I know in the beginning that the relationship is not right, but I pursued. Things would have been better if at first I stopped it and had not allowed myself to deeply fall in love with him. However, that is life. You will only regret something when it's done. So far, am okay now.

not yet.But when everytime i can see him hurt,worried,and always cry cos of me.I can think i have to let him go even though i love him so much.And i also think that letting go makes him to look another person who will satisfy him and always be beside him to make him happy.I have a lover whos far from me,every time hes telling me that he needs me that she wants me and want to be beside me.It makes me hurt.Cos im not there for him.But here,were still fight to survive our relationships...and as of now we are happy and im happy with him even though i cant hold him.This is love and i can wait for him till we meet.

I had to let my ex go because his parents hated me. They still do I guess, but it was for the best that we weren't together anymore, it still kind of hurts thinking of how it ended, but I'm better off.
