Now am not one to usually find the internet boring, but of late its just getting to the point where nothings really interesting anymore. I use to enjoy chatting online and posting on forums, but now I find most boards are just full of people who like to argue these days. There use to be a time where I could just surf random stuff and be occupied, but now most of its pretty similar as if I've seen most of it before. Not only that but theres just heaps of crap flying around the internet, heaps of pop-ups and stuff all for the same crap, viruses and spyware floating around, hell I just had to reformat my computer because of some random spyware that I managed to pickup. I dunno maybe am just sick of having to shift through half the crap on the net lately, its just not what I use to remember it.

Perhaps you can do things that is outside your normal Internet usage. Instead of just surfing, chatting and posting to boards, you could start your own blog, participate in online surveys and earn some extra income from the Internet instead. This way, it could be more fulfilling, especially when you have objectives and targets to look up for when you online.

Nope, not me. It is always interesting, and being a big music and sports fan, the internet is definitely the place to be to keep up to date with everything around the world. In terms of spyware and viruses, it takes a bit of common sense and experience to know how to avoid these things. In fact I haven't had to reformat my computer in about 3 years now, which is record. And getting firefox definitely is the first step in maintaining the health of your pc!
