I wanted everyone to get a chance to meet my little angel James! He is my grandson, and he turned 4 on 12/24/2004, and he was murdered on 12/29/2004. He was shot in the head by a 13 yr. old boy in Lewistown, PA.. This is why I love angels so very much he is my little angel, I love him, and miss him so very much! The 13 yr. old was placed away in a detention center till he is 18, but if he does any thing wrong, he is in till 21. He should have gotten life, because he took away a life, and it was no accident either, Just a few days before he killed James he was heard telling someone he wishes James was dead, and that he wanted to kill him.

That is so terrilble. My heart and prayers go out to you. He is a little angel I am sure that god is taking care of him right now. Does this 13 yr old have any remorse for what he has done?

Wow! I am so sorry to hear that. It just goes to show that there are good and BAD people in the world whether they are children or not. I would go as far to say that he may even be the next Ted Bundy or Jeffery Daumer

No he does not ! Even after he was charged, and the DA showed all the proof, he still tried to win an appeal, and said he didn't do anything. They brought his worker in from the JVC, because he was laughing, and smiling, saying yes I am going to get away with this nothing is going to happen to me. That is why I say he will do something again when he gets out I don't think he learned, or ever will learn ! Sad to say.

Marylouu69, I'd like to thank you first of all for sharing your story, and that I am so sorry for your loss. I have no idea how that must feel for you and your family to lose someone this way. It's a shame that a 13 year old would do something like that. There has to be something wrong with a child who is capable of this at such a young age, who knows what he will do when he's older and has access to even more. I hope he gets some help before he gets out and causes another family pain.
Once again, I am so sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing this with us.
Good Bless you and your little angel.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Sometimes it is just hard
to make sense of these kinds of things. God bless.

Thank you, and you are right it is hard to make sense of anything like this, and people never think it could happen to them, but when something like this does happen you never get over it. You just learn to carry on but the damage is with you always.

This is beyond shocking for me, a 13 yr old to shoot a 4 yr old in the head?? The parents must have been devastated :(
It's incomprehensible what must have gone through that older boy's mind in order to commit such a horrible crime against such a young kid...

The parents were charged, because of the weapon in the house. We all stayed together our family and theirs we was alway close. I hold bad feelings for the 13 yr. old but not his family, because they didn't do it he did !

Thank you, and I will always tell his story, because there may just be other parents that are not aware that this could happen to them.
