Women seem to become very controlling after marriage. My friends dissapear and don't seem to be enjoying themselves. I know guys can be jerks but what should women do to make marriage a joy? I'm at that age but just don't see any marriages, as examples, that I would enjoy being in. (Don't say I would have to make my own special) I

Maybe the reasons that your friends "disappear" is because marriage is a "team" effort. They tend to hang out with other married couples who "now" share the same interests such as marriage. As for women who become "controlling" after marriage is cliche. Trust me, the fun doesn't stop after marriage, we just eliminate the "3rd" wheel, for example the partying loner. Sorry to break this to you, but married men have less in common w/ their single counterparts and the mature ones would rather see their marriage work than to "hang" out with their buddies.

Who told you that marriage was supposed to be all fun? And how immature are you to expect your wife to carry the whole burden for your having a good time. Marriage is about give and take. There will be things you will have to do to be able to co-exist amicably with another human being. If you are expecting joy, get a dog. If you want an intimate, growing relationship with another human being, change your attitude and find a wife.
