That's all we do at mine. I just wondered how many other ppl's jobs required them to type?

The job I retired from 2 & a half yrs ago I did data entry. Typing all the time! But since then, I've only typed for "pleasure" like typing stories, or on mylot.

Hi, gwendovere! :) I think everyone in my workplace has some typing to do specially when the Monthly Accomplishment Reports are to be submitted. From the head of the instutitution down to the utility workers. Everyone of us are required to submit reports. So every now and then we find ourselves tinkering with the keyboard. Our institution is very output oriented and our head wants evidence in writing. So we have so much paper work to do and a lot of typing too.

I am a receptionist at a solicitors and i have to type quite a lot at my job. I type messages and letters up for the solicitors. I'm not constantly typing, i mainly answer the telephones and deal with clients who come into the office. Typing however is a very important part of my job.
