Waking up early and loving it.

For the past two weeks I have been waking up early, first reason is that I was the opener last week and my shift starts at around 6 in the morning everyday for one week and the second reason for this week I have the second shift 7am to 4pm and I also need to wake up early for this morning coz I have to prepare the food for the group and I am loving it.
I have a more disciplined lifestyle now and I love it. I can still a lot of time to talk with God and read the scriptures which gives me strength everyday and its something that i wanted to do but always fail to do it.
Im just glad that we have new christian house mates and church mates which have been a blessing and have been instrumental in this struggle.

oh my God! i hate to wake up eary! the morning is created to sleep! i you don't sleep in the morning you don't know everyone in the life!. why? is the night you can't sleep because you go to dance or to pub, the morning sleep. so if one has fun the night the morning sleep... it's easy

Well, i hate waking up early when the previous night I was not able to sleep early, its hard to get out of bed when you are needing the sleep that is required of the body. But sometimes waking up late makes me lazy at time and I dont like it.

I have never been that fond of waking up early in the morning, but I have to admit that I get a lot more done in the day and it does feel more satisfying.

What is this group you have to prepare food for?
I prepare not to get up early, but ever since I have hadto get up early for my daughters swimming training (4.00 or 5.00am), I have been seeing the benefits of this.

I love having time to calm my soul and my mind in the mornings. I am naturally an early bird. Congratulations on both this lifestyle change and your really positive attitude about it. I do not seem to have enough time to do that way, but I know we all have the same amount of time, it is just the choices that we make. I wish you many many good mornings.

I always wake up early even on weekends. It is already a habit to me or my body clock is really working. There's no need to use an alarm clock since I wake up earlier before it rings. I work 30-45 minutes commute away from home so I have to start earlier from preparing our breakfast and pack lunch to dressing up for office. I don't want to be rushing so I take time fixing myself and feel relaxed, not exhausted.

Its the same case with me, its more a lifestyle and your body seems to have this internal clock that signals your brain to wake and then you start with the daily routine and it does not take so much effort to wake up.
The one point to remember is to sleep early to rise early and start with God's word.

Yes I have been getting up early during weekends too and I have been really productive in the mornings. I work online and then in the afternoon, I could relax and do other things that I would love to do. I think I have a better use of time when I wake up early and it seems that I have more time for a day to use *smiles*.

I do love waking up in the early morning to view and appreciate the wonders of this world especially the creation of God. However, I've been busy with work lately. I usually sleep late at night at about 11 or 12pm. And then in the morning, my body clock wakes me up at about 7am. Upon waking up, I normally rush preparing breakfast for my family, cooking, and taking a bath. I don't get to pause in the mornings these days.
But I'm hoping & waiting for the days when I could go back to the basics. Maybe sometime soon, when we have already established our lives (mine, my husband's, and our daughter) in the province. Mornings are much fresher and pure over there, when we could watch the morning sun as it wakes the world up.

I wish I could like when I wake up early. I wake up early sometimes and I just really am not all happy about it. I go to work at 8...leave at about 7. But half the time I wake up at 5 or earlier and I don't take that long to get ready. Usually I just spend the time trying to go back to sleep.
Do you go watch the sunrise or anything like that?

You know what had impressed me in your early waking hour is you have found the time and way again to start your day in good direction. Having a quiet time with the Lord and reading passages from the bible could really make your day GREAT! Maybe God had used your new house mate and church mates to remind you about these things. I really think that this is actually a wake up call from God. God Bless!

I too have also enjoyed waking up early and feeling good about it. I actually have to get my son ready for school by making his lunches and getting his clothes ready (if he hasn't chosen them already) and fixing his breakfast. I also iron a shirt and pants for my hubby so he is ready once he gets up as well.
As soon as we walk our son to the bus stop, i am off for my morning walk/jog/run which takes at least an hour and a half or more depending on how I feel. I am usually sore and tired after it but feel so good that I did the workout and slowly losing weight.
I need to set aside some time with God too. I have not done this in a very long time!

Yes I agree, waking up early is great, I just struggle with it. Unless I have something to do, I sleep in. I do need motivation to get up early. In fact I am getting up a little earlier now that my son is in school, and I am already reaping the benefits of that...:)
