Hey everyone. Do you find it hard to start up a discussion. As You do not want to start something that someone has already done, Or wether it is going to be interesting enough for people to respond to. As i was reading through all of the discussions i could only find two that i would respond to. Most of the discussions on here people already know the answers to themselfs. How do you fins the discussions on here lately.

I'm finding it hard to come up with something that many people would actually respond to. I haven't got any discussions that reached twenty responses yet, I hope I could come up with some soon. Sometimes I get ideas but when I search and look for it, somebody already come up with a similar discussion. We've got more than a hundred thousand members here in mylot now so it's not impossible than somebody is thinking the same thing like us.
I still find interesting discussions here, sometimes they just don't appear on the main page and you still need to browse for it.

I go to my interests to find discussions to respond to. Once the dicussions go past 5 weeks old i do not bother with looking any further as they may have already sorted that problem out. Good luck with you getting more than 20 responses ill keep an eye out for when you post anything.

thankyou very much for responding. I try and post one topic at least once a month. I posted a while ago of my son's progress wich got no responses so i know not to post that one again lol. But someone posted one late last year about there son's progress and got tons of responses. Maybe they just had lots of friends. Thankyou again for your response.

Hey dear.. dont feel sad about why people dont response your discussions. Maybe they are too busy with other topics and maybe they overlooked yours. Not to worry.. it happens sometimes. Maybe you could be right, the earlier post got massive response maybe because of the list of friend they have in their list. Stay cool pal.. its not the end of the world.. ok.

There are some interesting discussions around but sometimes you have to look really hard for them. Some days I can find lots to respond to, other days I'm struggling to find 2 or 3. I do find it difficult to start original discussions though because just about everything I think of has already been done at least a few times.

You can go according to ur interests. There is category, called 'discussions from my interest' and if u have added many interests to ur profile u will get enough discussions to reply and also the number of discussions and u can find that suits u or interests u.I never have problems in repying the discussions. Sometimes i am in the mood to talk to the newbies, so i go o he category 'new users discussions'. In this way i get a variety of them.

Yes sometimes i go to new user discussion and reply, just depends on how much time i have after looking for discussions i respond to. I have dile-up and a slow connection so it takes a while for the page to load. I have a 4 hour time limit, i do get enough done though. If i do not find anything to respond to im my interests, i go to new user discussions. Sometimes i find things in there if not i go to discussions with no responses. I usualy find at least one in there. Thankyou for your response

With so many members on mylot it's going to be hard to start a discussion that's never been done before. I rely on mostly personal experiences for my discussions.

Yes it is hard to post new discussions and starting them on personal experiances is a great idea. Although my life is very dull. My days are filled with cleaning and looking after my 1yr 9 month son. He has physio every second monday and hospital appointments every 3-6 months. He has downsyndrome that is why i am not back at work as i do not want to miss out on any of his milestones. His next step is walking. Once he is toilet trained and walking then i will consider putting him in childcare. Thankyou for your response.

Hi katrina! If I can't find interesting discussions from my interests I open the recent, new, and today's top discussions. There are so many interesting discussions here. It's only a matter of appreciating them. God bless.

thankyou for the response. I only respond to discussions that i can relate to or feel that i can help. Just the last few weeks i have not found any. Even in those catagories that you have mentioned. Thankyou again for your response.

There are times that I have some ideas, but I just can't simply find the proper words to use and describe it so I just tend to drop them.
As for the discussions here, I am tired of those talking about earnings here. I see them everyday, and it irritates me when people give wrong opinions about it. So I mostly respond to it, not to earn, but to help the threadhost.
There are still other posts that seemed somehow original, because I choose that are well-put and written in good details..

I know exactly how you feel. It is hard to post discussions. And if i go into detail mine alwys end up too long. So i try to keep things to a minimum.

They are interesting enough overall. Sometimes you have to do a lot of searching to find an original discussion. But to be truthful, most people respond to the mundane questions, and they don't go into the interesting discussions. It could be that some are not great English speakers and they want to respond to easy and simple discussions. Or it could be no one knows where to look for the discussions. But they are out there. Although lately it's been difficult to find them. Try looking for the poster Hmmmm, if you haven't seen her already. Her discussions are always pretty interesting.

Hi there buddy, what's been up to lately?
Well, a few weeks later, i find most of the new discussions here in mylot are so boring as it's always talking with the same thing, like if we can really earn here in Mylot, how much can we earn here, what are the pay rate, what does the Star besides my username mean, Big Brother is boring, about American Idol and others.
But now, i just find all the discussions now seems to be more exciting and totally have sense to discuss.
Have a nice day ahead and happy posting and earning here in Mylot.
Godspeed,
Kiko
