Would you like to go boating with your family or friends?

Hi! I like to go boating with my family when I'm free. Every time we go boating, I always ask my wife and my son to put on the lifecoat. You know they can't swim. What if the boat would sink into the water? I have heard someone fell into water and was drowned just because of not wearing the lifecoat during the boating.

hello taskata10, yes I would like to go boating with my family or friends. We usually have the opportunity to do this during summers when we go on a trip to the beach on another island. Yes its safe and advisable to wear lifecoat or lifejacket specially on a long trip and you'll be out on the sea. I know how to swim but I still wear one when we go on a boatride. Better be safe than sorry. ;-)

I love rowing out into a nice placid lake :).I used to row a lot when i was little but not much now and I have never wore a life vest in my life,but most people seem to.

I always loved going out in the boat with my family. I always wanted to get my license and take my friends out sometime but never had the chance. I generally don't wear a life vest, but I keep one nearby in case I need it. I'm a strong swimmer, although I admit it wouldn't do much good if I was unconscious or something.

Hi! You are right. Being careful won't make a big mistake even though you are a god swimmer. Have fun!
