Christian Bautista, one of the Philippines' most promising singer, omitted some lines and went straight to the last line while singing the Philippine National Anthem at an exhibition match between Gerry Peñalosa, reigning world bantamweight champion, and Bernabe Concepcion, reigning national bantamweight champion, at the Metropolis Mall in Alabang. What is your opinion?

While it's human to err, I do think it was a very regrettable mistake that he missed those lines, in the National Anthem of all songs. He is a professional singer, and it's enough to spark controversy to forget the lines of whatever song you're singing in ASAP or in a small concert, but to miss the lines of Lupang Hinirang on national TV and in a national sports event? He should have known better and practiced the song more; it could have helped him avoid the mistake and save some of his pride in what he does. I actually feel sorry for him, but the only thing he can right now is bounce back and make sure it doesn't happen again to him. I don't he's the kind to lose confidence over a mistake like that and like I said, he's a professional. There was a mistake and he should know how to deal with it. I think both he and the public will get over it.

Nobody's perfect... things like that can happen... i actually forgot some lines of The Lord's Prayer during a program... but of course it was not televised and there were on a handful of people in the room... maybe his nerves got the best of him...
