If given a choice, whose diary would you read, living or dead?

Now, this is for fun guys. I don't want anyone to get on to me for encouraging the invasion of privacy, LOL. But I think it would be fun to read the diary of historical figures, just to see what they were thinking all those years ago. And of course we don't know who even had diaries, but use your imagination. Perhaps some of you are parents who would prefer to read your teen's diary just to know how to help them. That's OK too since this is make believe. I would choose to read the diary of Natalie Wood. She married the same man twice, had a lucrative movie career, and then died a very suspicious death. I would be interested in her life, from the beginning to the end. Whose diary or journal would you choose to read?

Well, ive got a few. 1. being my grandma's. she had a hard life with my psycho grandpa and i'd like to know what she was thinking. 2. my mom, shes told me before that she puts all her thoughts and feelings on paper. 3. Sylvia, who was my best friend since the age of 5 and she passed away in Nov 05. I know she did alot of writing in a journal and such and I'd LOVE to read it. 4. My hubby..he doesnt keep anything like a journal or writings, but if he did, i'd like to read it so that maybe i could understand him better sometimes.

The most interesting person that ever lived, as far as I am concerned was Jesus. I would not mind reading in his diary and seeing the day to day things that happened. You know that more personal things that the Bible does not record. I think that it would give me a better perspective on how human he was. I mean the Bible is holy and there was no need to write the little things that would never really benefit us. But, I am just curious. Especially, about his growing up years. Was he a crier. The Bible records that he never sinned, so he must have been the perfect baby. But, I guess I would have to read his mother's diary to find out all of that. It just seems kind of interesting to me.

He was the first person who came to my mind, but I guessed the Bible was the closest thing to that, since He inspired it. He probably didn't even have a diary. His reasoning skills, His memory, He'd never have to write anything down. His siblings had an impossible job to be anything like Him. But if He had a diary, I'd be in line to get it! LOL

I think Natalie Wood's diary would be interesting too. I always liked her. My favorite movie with her was 'The Great Race' with Tony Curtis. I would like to read Mariyn Monroe's diary. I know she had a very troubled life, and I would like ro know what her thoughts really were, not what the media portrayed about her. Hmmmm...two troubled actresses.

I love Natalie Wood, but I think if it can be anyone, even before the written language, I would say Adam or Eve. If it had to be someone in the time of written language, Joan of Arc. I think it would be very interesting to see if she had some visions that she didn't mention..

I would love to read the diary of Anna Nicole Smith, just to find out what was really going through her mind as she went through all of those trials and tribulations. In spite of her self portrayal as the ditzy blonde, I think there was some intelligence in that head of hers that she kept to herself.

I would love to read the diary of Marilyn Monroe. All the rumors would be satisfied then. But then again, people have been known to lie in diaries. Still, Marilyn Monroe would be my choice of diaries to read. I'd like to know the inside story.

Oo! Very interesting topic. A tough one, but I think I know my answer. If I had a choice I would want to read JFKs diary. I think he was one of the greatest presidents, and a very smart man! I think it would be very interesting to read what he wrote his first day in office, and the day he was assasinated.
