Jane Eyre is a smart,good-hearted,strong,assertive girl,Her life has encountered many setbacks and turns,can be said to be unforturate,but she has nerver bow to the fate and she would not face any diffculties in fear.

I would disagree on one part, she was not all that assertive, if anything she was more introverted and passive. She stayed basically in her comfort zone the whole, time. But like you said she never faced her difficulties with fear, but with strength and courage. She walked away from the man she loved most, how many of us can say we can even think to do that.
