is Birthday gaining 1 year closer to Death?

tomorrow i'll gain a year older, im turning 22, and i've once heard in a tv series 'Kyle Xy' that birthday is gaining 1 year closer to death, then i thought he's smart.. but instead of thinking about death, i belive that birthday is a celebration of life that God has entrusted to me, and a thanksgiving to him for continually briging joy, love and blessings to my life..

I am not sure who actually said it (maybe someone else knows and can share); but a statement was made that the from the moment we are born we start to die..... Very pessimistic view and statement I agree but when you think about it, it is actually very true!
And as hard as it is for us to maintain; EVERY day should be a celebration of life!! I do not believe that it is the only life we will ever have but it is the one we have now so make the most of it"

i got the thought in 'Kyle Xy' it's a tv series.. and yep when you think about it, it's true, but i agree with you that everyday is a celebration of life and everyone should enjoy it..
