Hello cici!!!
I use to have fear in riding a bike too, i had an accident w/ my little sister before, but i tried to cope with that fear because i loved my bike. So i practiced a lot and eventually i did ride my bike again.lol!!
Enjoy riding and pls. be safe my friend.

uh-oh that means you have to learn and learn fast. well, honestly, although i know how to ride a bike, i don't know if i have much to share. i remember that when i was in college, a suitor tried to teach me to ride a bike. man, we went on for days in the outdoors--with him teaching me--holding the bike and letting me go on his cue. my skin got so tan from too much sun exposure, but i never learned. i had so many bruises from falling down many times and i even went to as far as falling in a ditch.
then one day, while he was away, i went out and brought my bike along. i decided to practice alone. Then, when i got on my bike, i stood up and hunched myself on the steering handle. Then i started to pedal. lo and behold! i was able to balance myself. i just pedaled one foot after the other and held on the handle. i maintained my balance by just continuing to pedal and not focusing on my feet but rather on my hands. if veered to the left, i moved it a little to the right and so on and so forth. man! that day, i became an expert!
however, i still would not trust myself with biking in busy streets. i just still confine myself in the neighborhood.
by the way, it would help if you can sit down the bike's seat and stand up without having to slant your body. meaning the height of the bike is enough to hold your body height. or something, i can't express it here very well.
oh well, i hope this helps. :-)
