Animal Lover or Not?

I am a major animal lover. I think that's why I've ended up with so many cats and my two dogs. I just can't stand seeing an animal standing alone looking all sad and lonely. So what do I do? Talk to it and end up loving on it for at least ten minutes. I take in strays all the time and it drives hubby up the wall. But yet he's the one that sits there with 3 cats on him, or is outside throwing the ball for the dogs. Yeah...big tough guy! The only time I've come close to being attacked was when some guy's dog tried to jump out of the car at me. But I was far enough away that it didn't get me.

Well,you does seem to be a great animal lover. A true animal lover is on who loves all animals,not only the cute and sweet ones,but also even the strays. Hats off to you. I do really get along with the animals. Well,I had seen a dog in one of my relatives house only 3 times. But,it doesn't allow others to touch the pups.Only my aunt can touch the pups. But,strangely,I dont know the reason,it allowed me to touch the pups.Only two can touch the pups and I was one among them ! I love animals and generally I get along ok with animals I don't know. I tend to get a better response from cats though. For some reason dogs always seem to be a bit wary of me. I've had both cats and dogs as pets but mostly cats so maybe I'm just more comfortable around them and they sense that. Oh and birds! For some reason birds always take to me. Whether it's caged birds or even wild birds. I can feed the birds in my daughters garden by hand. She feeds them every day and they fly away when she goes out into the garden but they come to me straight away. But I've always been like that with wild birds - for some reason they don't seem to be nervous of me. Actually it's a little spooky in a way lol!

I guess you can say I am an animal lover. I hate to see any animal suffer. But realistically, i cannot care for all the animals that need caring for. I am helping to watch some 35-40 cats right now. I sometimes have more luck making friends with animals than I do people...lol.

I'm a animal lover I have no trouble befriended any animal.It's like they know who to trust.I trained horses in my past and I've caught cats that people said could not be caught.I trained a dog that would kill cats to eat with cats.My husband was amazed.I get along with animals better than I do people.

I love animals and i am a big dog fan. Well most dogs would bark or growl but the key to a dog is feeding it and petting them. Most dogs show aggression just because they lack love or they see you as a threat. If you come to them with open arms and get to know them they will learn to accept you as a friend in due time.

My family members are animal lovers .....We have a cute dog at home...My brother loves the dog and uncountable times it has bitten him...With time it has become almost like a member of our family...Its activities r so interesting to watch...

I love animals and have 2 dogs at the moment. We don't really see cats around our garden as they seem to avoid it because of the dogs. Also in England dogs are not aloud on the streets without an owner so you never really see stray dogs either.

I have six dogs, three cats. Every single one of them are rescues. I love animals and wind up with most of the strays around. I have even had the dog catcher bring them to me cause he knows I will take care of them rather than them being put down. My family get mad at me but I can't stand to see an animal abused. I will help as many as I can. I usually try to find good homes for them. I have found a lot of homes over the years.

i love animals all kinds. i am however affraid of lizards. an animal well scratch or bite if they feel fear in you or they are scared of something them selves maybe there was a scent on you that they didn't like

I love all animals, especially dogs. All the neighbor's dogs come over to visit me, and there is one that comes almost every day. He stands and waits outside my sliding glass door in the dining room, until I go out and talk to him and pat him on the head. I try to give him treats sometimes, but he's not too interested. He just seems to want attention. My dog likes him, and they spend time hanging out together, but he'll ignore her and hang around me if I'm outside. My parents told me that when I was a toddler, I would walk up to any dog, even ones that were supposed to be mean, and I could pet them without getting bit. I would make friends with any dog, and I still do today.

Hello twoey68, I am an animal lover. I find it easy to get along well with animals in general or even strays too. I liked to pet animals specially dog even if its not my own. I have never been bitten or scratch growing up up to now. I had to pick up a dog once which is fully grown that was given to me by my sisters friend. Its a big guard dog and was always in a cage near their gate that would get angry and keep on barking when it see's a stranger. When I went there to pick her up I had no problem and it just took less than 20 minutes, the dog and I are already friends. :-)

hello, i love animals so much special cats , i love cats than you imagine , first time to touch cat it hurt me ,but after few days i love cat coz of that one , it was friend`s cat , and i hope have one in home but here they refuse animals :((

I like animals especially dogs,but a lot of my friends are afraid of them,they feel unpleasent when they saw dogs,but their attitude can't affect me. when I was young,I was attackted by a dog that raised by my sister,but it doesn't matter,I still like ir very much.

I must be a big animal person for I have never been scatched or bitten by any animal And I have or have had birds come land on me. I try to get them to come now but our yard is to busy and they get scared.

I am great with animals. I however, only have a little tinny rabbit because I have asthma and am allergic to most dogs and cats. I have had the pleasure of playing with a tiger cub and a black bear cub. I have also been able to play with a raccoon. There have been dogs that were supposed to be mean that seem to love me for some reason. I also walked into a yard sale and started petting a cat and the owner was surprised because she said the cat did not like people. My dad is like that too. He just has this way about him or it is his scent that animals know he will never hurt them. I guess they feel the same way about me. There is only one dog that I have problems with and that is a pit bull. They seem to know that I do not trust them any more than they trust me.

I get along wonderful with all animals. I am usually the one people come to when there is a sray. Not to long ago this summer there was a big dog in the woods behind our house. I took a bowl of food and went twoards him. He was barking at me and walked backwards some. I decided I wouldnt get closer and make him run. I set the food down and sat next to it my back facing the dog. After a few minutes he knew I wasnt going to hurt him and he came down for some food. He was really dirty and smelled prety bad. He did pee on my leg like he was marking me..LOL. He was a nice dog though. He had a tag but no name and number. I took him around our neighboor hood and eventually found his home. He had been missing for 4 days. They were happy to have him back. I asked what his name was..it was Fat Boy! LOL. Some people just have the ability to be around animals. I fell I am a very calm person when it comes to catching strays and befriending them. I have never had a bad incedent happen yet ...Knock on wood.

I have had a life of picking up strays. They always seem to find me and I've never been bitten. Friends' animals like me, too. I'm married to my second husband and both husbands I've had are strays, too. They showed up after unhappy first marriages and I took them in -- one at a time, of course. I couldn't live without critters and I couldn't live with anyone who wasn't also a critter person. We have 4 dawgs and 4 cats. :-)

ok everyone is probably gonna call me the bad guy here but i have to say that if an animal attacks that it needs to be taken out of the place. im sorry if it was nice once before or not if it attacks once it will do it again. i love pets, dogs, cats, and all other types of animals but being attacked is not fun thought i do agree if you are going to get rid of one then get rid of them all around your property not just one which is what my family here is doing. I can truly say "Life wouldn't be the same without the animals we love", no matter what kind of animals you choose. They are truly a good companion and understand your innerself without you revealing anything or saying anything. They really add colors and interest to any boring day.
