Why do you think marriage is important?

Is it important? What is its purpose? What is the backbone principle of marriage? What makes marriage different than any other business agreement? Why do we still try marriage after horrendous divorces? I'm still not sure how to ask this question. Why is there a desire to persue marriage?

Marriage is the only way for most of us to understand to take responsibilities,to think for others,to commited to living and to get mature to take care of life.
