singing and luck

Do you think singing in front of the right audience is a matter of luck. Has it happened to you that you do really well in front of people who would not recruite you as a singer and due to chance are not given the chance to perform in front of influential audience. Share your experience with singing for a grand audienceship..will be waiting..thanks.

i am a singer by profession and i started singing in front of the crowd since i was a kid for i started singing in church as a choir. when i was 17 i joined a band and from then on up to now still singing. but i still have this stage fright that i still feel uneasy getting up the stage for my first song. singing in front of a crowd is not that easy. there are a lot of types of crowd. sometimes you are good but the crowd does not appreciate. sometimes they are so busy minding their own thing. but to perform in front of a crowd who is game and respond to everything you say and do is heaven.

thanks, i have been singing numerous times in front of all numbers of audience - except maybe a stadium!- on tv, in family stuff, competitions(for fun),religious stuffs. but tell me how you joined the band? was it your own? did they recruite you? did you have to ask for a break?

i was singing in a choir back then, and my cousin's girlfriend told me that a certian band is holding for an audition for a female vocalist. she didnt ask me to join but i myself went there alone. i sang 2 songs one slow and one fast. a sang eternal flame and i saw him standing there by tiffany for that was the hit song on those days. i waited for a couple of days and they called my for practise. from then on i became a singer.
