Addicted to My Lot...Phase 2

I slept early yesterday at around 8pm and told my mother to wake me up at 10pm. Unfortunately, she went to sleep and forgot to wake me up. I woke up by myself at almost 1 am and couldn't get back to sleep. I have this weird act whenever I couldn't sleep at night. I will continue doing my house work like washing or ironing the clothes, wash the bathroom and so on. Just imagine that I am doing all this after midnight!
But yesterday, I decided to switch on my computer and logged on to My Lot. When I saw I have many comments from friends here, it made me eager to respond back. And so, I sat in front of my computer until almost five in the morning! I was happily mylotting till morning and when I heard the door to my mother's room being opened, I quickly ran back to my room and pretended to be sleeping. (Yes, I am still afraid of my mother if she asks what I have been doing, wide awake till morning... who knows she will tell my husband that I am busy chatting till wee hours when he is not around!) Unfortunately, she knew that I was not sleeping. When she asked me what I was doing, I just told her that I need to do something urgent and blamed her for not waking me up ...with a childish smile...
In fact, I need some sleep as I have to go to work the next morning. My son will wake me up at the same time every morning and that means I only have around one hour plus to get some sleep... Lately I spend more time mylotting here and I bet I started to get addicted to My Lot again. I quitted the habit before and unfortunately, I think I start to love being here all over again!

LOL that's a very funny story gr8life! im also still afraid of my mother even though im already 25. ^__^;; or more like, i dont like her fussing over me or just nagging me about things i shouldnt do.
i got that addiction too. hey, maybe you infected me! LOL last friday when i came home from the office i was thinking of myLot but i couldnt log in (our monitors broken) and i was too tired to go out and go to an internet shop. so i just settled on thinking about new discussions that i could post for the next day. ^__^;; i couldnt sleep that night coz i kept on thinking about myLot and if my discussions got more responses during the time im not logged in. i texted my friend and told him about it and he just laughed at me. ^__^
then, last night, i was so excited coz i got new referrals and i actually dreamed of having a few more. LOL sometimes i try to distract myself to stop thinking about myLot. sometimes i succeed sometimes i dont. sometimes i succeed but my line of thought would still end about myLot. LOL

no problem. i am not able to respond on time too to the responses on my discussions. and.. do you get alerts when someone responded to your discussions?? coz i don't. i only receive alerts when a friend started a discussion. .

Hello secretbear,
Since two or three months ago, I didn't get all the notifications. I just didn't get some responses and few discussions started by my friends. When I checked it manually, I could see that some did respond to me without my knowledge and so, they must be thinking that I just don't bother to leave a comment for their responses *sighs* I also feel that most of the friends that I know here when I just get started are no longer active or they don't participate as much as they were before; no more new discussions and sometimes, no more responses from them too. I am not too sure whether they are really busy with their lives, or being active in other sites like this or they are no longer interested to respond/start a new discussion here. Hope I will hear from them again!

I am sorry for my late reply. I didn't get your response through my e-mail alert and so I need to check it manually. It has been two months ago...Oh, really sorry for that.
Back to the discussion, yes it is some kind of funny and weird. We are matured enough to make our own decision but still sometimes, the feeling of afraid of being found doing something behind mother's back is something we can't avoid *laughs* I have less time to log on here nowadays and very lucky that my 'addiction' is getting better. My husband always monitoring me while I am using his computer. What a day!

Wow, you surely got addicted! But I lost my addiction for awhile yesterday, not because I was not interested, just because I know I don't have time. It was like fire-fighting yesterday in the office with the new guy coming in and stuff. And my boss wanted me to teach and did everything for her. I got really pissed off and tired when I got home, so I decided I played yuwie for awhile and then go to bed. I almost fell asleep when I was sitting in front of the yuwie page! Geez! I cannot handle this anymore, not when I am about to leave. You might not see me as often now as I need to deal with my crazy boss! (then you can beat my record *laughs*).

If I were you, I don't think I have any mood left to work. I might opt for medical leave too *smiles* But it is OK, it is just another week to go and then you are free. It really sounds good right, knowing that you will be able to do whatever you want when the time comes... Good luck with your crazy boss. Don't slap her..you just waste your time trying to hurt her!

hahaha... you are not alone my friend... that happends to me also. time sinly fly when you are here discussing and reading friends coments. That's why I come here after I have finished what I need to do first. It's great to know I am also not alone in this. Enjoy and have a great day

It is lucky that I have limited time to be here (partly good, partly bad..in terms of earnings) as I am pretty busy with my personal and work schedules. I bet, if I have more time online, I will definitely get addicted again. Just don't know why...it is so much fun to be here. Well, don't worry! So many people are like us here!

Haahhahhhh.... I smile to myself on seeing your phase to addiction to mylot. I had that phase b4 and had to tell myself to go cold turkey. I can afford to be addicted to it again. Its quite natural though to get addicted to a website if there are any interesting topic that make you want to see more. I was addicted to Rantauan.com for so many phase that I refused to admit. Its kindda of love hate situation there. Spend so much time on the webby and then hate myself for wasting time.
You better watch yourself ... from your posting numbers, i believe you had very little sleep just to feed your addiction...you better take care gerl.

I have less time here now ( it's a secret made public...I am mylotting in my office, using my office computer of course!) As I said, my husband bans me from using the computer at home as he himself spends so much time there and never leave his computers unattended *smiles* Every time I try to enter the room, he will accompany me voluntarily. I am waiting for my next phase of addiction but I don't think it will be in a near future. When are you coming to KL this December? I am planning to visit my aunt in Singapore too but it is still not confirm yet. When the time comes, just pm me to let me know and I will happily reveal my contact number to you, OK!

Thank goodness for the Internet. Being on Mylot when you can't sleep is much more fun than housework plus you can earn a little income. Have fun, it is funny you are afraid of you mom finding out, I bet that is half the fun of being on here when she thinks you are in bed.

Hello beaniegdi,
My mom always question me why I need to spend the whole night online. She has been thinking that I always chat with my hubby. I am not afraid if she found out that I am busy mylotting every night. But who knows what she will tell my husband! And he will be definitely angry if he knows I used his computer! He is afraid of me 'destroying' his computer as I always do that unintentionally *laughs*

Well i do have the same problem as yours and the fact is, i dont know how to cure mine.
I AM A TOTALLY MYLOT ADDICT! Gosh! lol
I do love participating here and seeing my earnings that improving everyday.
I have to admit that i am spending like 8hours here in Mylot everyday and i can't avoid myself doing that. I don't know im so addict, and i love mingling with my friends here, they are so cool, awesome!

Wow, that is pretty amazing! You do spend that much time here? How I wish I could do the same but I have other responsibilities as well. I try to be here as often as I could. Like you, I love the friendly environment here. Even though you don't know them personally, they are like your real life friends.

Yes, you are right. But right now I think I am trying to catch up as I can't spend too much time here when my husband is back home. I should enjoy my second addiction while I could and when the time comes to spend less time here, I won't feel regret *smiles*

I'm totally addicted here, really. Though I have missed two months of being here, I simply cannot ignore the fact that mylot is always on the back of my mind. In fact, as of now, I am multi-tasking. Doing the laundry while mylotting, it confuses me sometimes but I like the feeling of it!;)LoL

Wow, that is great! Doing laundry while mylotting. Last time when I was busy mylotting here, I always have something to snack on and bet, you are right...I put on some weight *smiles* This time around, I make sure that I don't have anything to munch. My husband is coming back soon, I don't want to surprise him with XXXL size woman!

Wow, I am so very new here and I am trying to learn the ropes. I don't really know anything about my lot, but I sure know that I have been starting to get addicted to reading and looking through here. i like this place. I wonder why I never knew about my lot before!
