Only thing it is pressure. The think if you hear it enough you'll think it's a big deal, which it ain't. If people keep telling you hey you're a virgin and trying to rub it in. I would say jealous much. Because that's all it it is jealously becuase you've waited and all the boys know that's she's easy and you're not. Good Luck

Yeah you should not be ashamed. I lost mine at a late age too. It feels great and proud to have waited for the right one for you. People should be ashamed losing it for lust and fun though.

I lost mine before i was sixteen and i regret it in a major way. I think it's best to wait for someone who you really care about and is worth it. That's what a lot of people, including myself, don't seem to think about! Well done you for being a virgin and proud!

There is nothing wrong with being a virgin at 16, it is better than being 16 with an std and a pregnant girlfriend. Just enjoy your life there is plenty of time for all that, you have the rest of your life.

i am looking forward to giving up comics for ladys! i do not want to wait to long! strange thing is, it is the ones that get really drunk at the weekend that claim to be bedding everybody. probably full of overactive imaginations as well as full of drink!

I was 20 or 21. When I was yonger people always thought that I wasn't a virgin and would freek out when I told them I was. They'd be like "YOU could not be a virgin!" I was like "why not" and didn't understand why this person was reacting they way they were. I was told when I was about 19 that I couldn't be a virgin looking the way I did. Whatever. I didn't really care. One of my friends is 26 and a virgin. They guy I was with my first time was 24 and a virgin. So it's up to the person and when they are ready. I think people just expect guys to lose it a lot earlier than females.

I'm going on 22 now and I'm still a virgin, and proud of it. It's a choice of mine to wait. Now only if more people had this power.

yeah, it's hard to refuse sometimes, but better that we do to make it all the more special when it happens!

stay a virgin. don't let people pressure u. but i lost my virginity when i was 15 years old. and got pregnant so that's nothing to brag about. if i could do it all over again i wouldn't make that same mistake. but hey. you learn from your mistake and u move forward. that's how i see it.

14 and it was way too young. Nothing wrong with being a virgin at 16. At 36 or 46 it would be a cause for concern but not 16. By the way - if teenagers are the same as they were when I was one (all those years ago) then most of the ones you know probably still are virgins too. The only difference is they don't admit to it.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a virgin. I personally think it is a good thing, and sometimes wish I was still one. I lost my virginity right before I turned 17. Stay a virgin until you find someone you truly love, and you know you will be with them forever!

Its not really a big deal if you think about it. It is more likely of peer pressure. Be proud f yourself being a virgin, its just means that you have control on your self.

hey there, I totally admire you for holding out and not giving in where your friends might have done. I wish to goodness I had held out and I have no excuse except I was young and foolish (and responding to another earlier situation in the only way i knew how). I lost mine when I was 10 to a 12 year old boy who was unbelievably persuasive (yes I know I was young, please dont beat me for it, i do it enough myself). I so totally wish I had waited because now i know how special that time is, i feel like a complete idiot for ever having let go of mine. You do the right thing in waiting to lose your virginity. Just make sure that the one you choose, really is 'The One' and not somebody you are just infatuated with.

with the state of my hormones i will be lucky to know the difference between real love and infatuation, i can barely hold myself back, (especially after a cheeky sherry or two pilfered from grannys 'secret' stash!)

Hi xboxboy, It's good to see that you are happy with being a virgin. It doesn't matter what others think. Some of your friends who boast may also be virgins but afraid to admit it, because they are afraid of being laughed at. I was still a virgin at 16, but probably wouldn't have admitted it either. Blessings.

It's alright to be a virgin at 16. There is no problem about that. Your values, education, beliefs pushed you to be firm in making decisions. Whatever your plans, goals, you are still the one to choose. As for me, being raised up as a devout catholic in the philippines, I am proud to say that I have followed the rules, everything's legal (in terms of marriage), and the results are indeed blessings from the Lord! The Good Lord Knows that we must not be put astray that's why He has these rules to be followed and a good, peaceful life are the results of being an obedient soldier. Go forth brave soldier!

hay, there's no big deal if you still virgin ar not. it's up to. you know who you are.you will know when is the time you will lose your virginity. but you know what, sometimes boys/girl will lose there virginity when they deeply in love. True Or Not? but one thing for sure is there are others who still virgin even there were in love cause they know how to take care of themself and not giving themself, i mean the body simply. But the big thing is, i'm not sure if virginity is still important before get married. What The Hell Is Going On?
