It now may become possible...these tests were done on rats to prolong their life and succeeded from their average of 4 weeks to over a year long! The tests have not been performed on people yet, but it looks like it could become something new for the future.
It something that is taken out of the body's dna to keep the body young so it will not age and prolong the average lifespan well over what it normally is.
Would you wish to undergo this new technology to live longer? I would jump on it in a hardbeat. Has anybody else heard of this yet?

I haven't heard of this. I remember years ago as part of a course I did we did some studies on cancer. The lecturer then said that 200, funny coincidence as you have said 200, would be the very oldest they could get anyone to live for and the reason is cancer. Until there is a cure for that then very long life is not possible past that as if you live long enough you will get cancer. I know that sounds awful but it is something to do with how the cells in our body age and reproduce. So if this new thing can prevent cancer forming then it will work.

I think most people given a certain amount of good health would love the chance to live longer. If I could slow the aging process in half I would be in line in a hurry. If I would age normally and stay really old longer I'm not so sure the quality of life would be there.

why would you want to do that imagine all the health problems and beeng old for 140 of those 200 years. No way I dont want that for my self even if its dna modified to age differentlu how would that work out when would you start as a baby (imagine having 6 years of nappies instead of 3) and how would our bodies cope. I would not do it I will just let nature work its course.

I never heard about this before but maybe as the technology speaks they can do it. But for me I think it is against the rule of God, I know He is the one who can decide on how many years I will survive and live in this world. If I choose to undergo in that technology yes I can live up to 200 yrs old and still young in look but If God wants me to live in a certain age I have nothing to do with it even I want to reach 200.

In my Business Communications class and my Administrative Office Technology class they keep saying in the test books how the average age limit in like 20 years is going to move up to 148 or something like that. That's so crazy, but amazing.

I know that the natural life is five times of the growing period.By your heard,we will be adult at 36
years old? Perhaps,we able to,but, change one's DNA,then, who are we?Humen?Or the GOD?If it get true, every one can prolong life, the world will be
destroy. The earth cannot supply so a great deal people.More an more social problem....oh NO~~
