Red Lipstick - who wears it?

I think I've only worn it on Halloween lol I'm too self concious to wear red lipsick. I'd feel like everyone was staring at my mouth! I don't like being stared at. I think it does look good on some people. I may have worn it a time or two (besides halloween) but if I did it was a long time ago and I must have been feeling pretty good about myself. lol

I have worn red lipstick. Right now I have a hard time remembering when I wore lipstick. I am meeting myself coming and going, so makeup seems to be off my list for a while. I see in one of your posts that you say that the red lipsticks make you look yellow, so I am wondering if you can find one with a more blue undertone. Or use a makeup base that cancels out the yellow--a pinkish base perhaps. I know,a bluish red is not the candy apple red that you are talking about. I seem to do alright with almost any shade of red lipstick. The thing that always killed my looks, though, were the blushes that had an orange or brown or "tawny" undertone. That and copper colored lipsticks.

i just wore a red lipstick last Monday. ^__^ before i didn't like wearing a red lipstick because i thought it was too..red.. for my complexion. ^__^;; i just thought that red lipsticks only suit those with very fair complexion, like gwen stefani and christina aguilera. but i still bought one and i thought i could wear it during night gimmicks. LOL but then, i saw this girl on tv, she was wearing a red lipstick even though she was kind of tan. and it looked great on her. so i got the courage to wear red lipstick at the office and i liked it. even though a lot of people teased me, it was okay for me. ^__^ christina aguilera gets my vote. ^__^

I think that christina agueleria pulls it off the best. Its really..and i mean really hard to be able to pull it off..so anyone who looks amazing in it i applaud lol

Yeah I also hear that how the red lip stick suit to everytine but it doesn't suit me either.but maybe I didn't find the right shade.So no I don't wear it, but I do like it on others.

I have never worn red lipstick. Purple was my favorite shade. I wore a lighter shade of it. Sometimes I wore a pink color, not too bright, not too dark. Red is way too bold for me.

Lol nope I do not like red Lipstick at all all my Make up is more in a natural way if you know what I mean lol As in Natural colors just slight Coloring I used to wear bright Colors and that over 10 years ago but then I went for the more warm colors which I love as they suit me a lot better Hugs

Hey well im going to have to disagree I hate red really i dont wear lipstick at all i dont like the way it feels on my lips i normally wear lip glosses but red isn't my color well i dont know if it is or not i have never tried to wear it because of my hate toward red sorry :) Im not sure why i have such a problem with that color hmmmmmm............................................................................................................. my fiance tells me that red is probably my color since i hate it so much LOL

You should try and find a MAC counter near you. They have all sorts of shades that you can experiment with. One of the most popular shades is "Russian Red". It's a fantastic bright red. During evenings I also like their Viva Glam red because it's a touch darker.

I like seeing women in red lipstick it's glamour.. but i still haven't find away to wear it on mine without being awkward :(.... scarlet nice too when wearing red-lip... but gwen is definitly an icon of red-lipstick :) i have try to buy 1 it's from YSL.. the red is totally red but have some glitter on it.. so it doesn't look heavy on my lip but still red... but i'm still haven't favor it yet
