Best movie villian?

I have two all time favorite movies villians. First on my list is Hannibal Lecter from Silence of the Lambs. He is so scary and cool. He's the intellectual killer that would charm you so you wouldn't even know anything was wrong until the last second. My other favoirite is Jack Nicholson's portrayal of the Joker on Bathman. He's such a neat character that will smile at you as he's shooting you. Who do you think is the all time best movie villian? Why?
