I am an independent contractor and they don't take taxes out of my check..

I was wondering how much I should be taking out. My check is usually the same every week, $375. I owe big time from last year cause I didn't save anything. Also this year I have a child so I know I get some credits. I tried to call the IRS but I was on hold forever.

If you go to the IRS website, they have a lot of calculators you can use to determine what your taxes would be.

Here's their small business and self employed index. http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/index.html I would start looking through those links first.
