last night was one of the most trying and depressing times in my life. it was very sad and i was feeling kind of down and so so alone. it was one of those times when you say to your self how i wish my mom is beside me or not so far away so that i could have a hug or two.
nobody could give you comfort or the sense of feeling secure like you mommy could give you. she is someone you could turn to and feel free to talk to. she is someone who could give you the sense of freedom and the security neither your boyfriend or the police could give...i miss my mommy

I'm sorry that you are sad, I know how important a mom can be. I have 4 children myself, it feels great to know that when they need someone, they call me first, even if it's just to talk. I lost my mom almost 7 months ago after a 9 year battle with heart disease. I ended up going to the doctor last week to get some help with my anxiety. It's been really tough with the things my husband and I have been going through. I used to call my mom ALL the time, and now, I can't. You're so right, no one can give the comfort and security like a mom can. I've tried to turn to friends, but it just wasn't the same as mom.
Cherish every moment you have with your mother and every time you get the urge to call her, do!

My heart goes out to you. Maybe writing down some of the good memories of your mom. Or write down what you think she would say to you to make you feel better. It helps me when I miss my brother.

I live far away from my mom too.. she is in a different countries.. and I only get to see her a few times a year..
Most of the time when I have problems or is angry after a row with my boyfriend or with my brother, I longed to have her there and talk to me and basically just spend time with her. Because I cant, then I usually give her a call and talk to her.. and just chatted around with her. She is so wise I feel that even though problem is a lot, but with her everything woudl be okaay and will be resolved ...

Sorry to hear that you felt so alone last night. Moms always do make you feel better. I know anytime ive been upset i have just wanted my mom to be there with me. And i think your right. I dont think anyone can give you the comfort or the security like a mother. Maybe you can call your mom and that will make you feel better.

I miss my mother, too. I wish I could talk to her again...even on the phone. She passed away a couple years ago.

No one can love you like a Mom! I am so sorry you are feeling so sad but remember no matter where we are Mom is in our hearts! Mom's love us no matter what we do, they stick by us when everyone else is gone, they remind us how precious life is! I can only offer you a long distance hug, but it is sincere.

I'm sorry you're feeling so down.
I always try to write things down on paper. Somehow it always seem to help work everything out. Especially if it's too late to call mom.
There is nothing like talking to your mom or dad. I've always been a daddy's girl, so lots of times I call to talk to him. But if I can't reach them then I write everything down in a journal...
Hope you're feeling better....

I understand this all to well! I am a military spouse with a husband in Iraq. I have 3 children, adn my parents are 2000 miles away. there are so many nights I have cried (and I am 29, lol), and just wished my mom was here to put her arms around me and tell me that I am doing the right thing. That she loves me and is here for me. Sometimes there is no hug better than a mom-hug!
I think I miss my mom more than anyone else most times. She is security, she is your cheer section, she is you confident ear to listen....she is your everything sometimes, you know?
