I know preparing own food is less expensive than eating out. The problem is time. It takes time to learn how to cook, and even when you do know how, it takes time to actually prepare the food as well. Do you cook or eating out instead? Share your experience

I'd like to prepare the food and eat it in my home. When you eat out, you don't know whether the food is suituable for yourself, only after you have a taste then you know whether it is too salty, or ok, too sweety or ok. And if I prepare it by myself, I can made the food that I like most. Of course prepare the food will take some time, but eating out will also take time. First you must find a place to eat and go there, and then wait until you get served.

I REALLY wish I knew how to cook more things than I do, and even more so, I wish we didn't go out to eat so often. Even though my boyfriend loves to cook, we're usually too lazy to go to the grocery store, and Arby's or some other quick meal is so much easier. It seems like it's not any less expensive at the time, but at the end of the week, it all adds up unfortunately.
We have been trying to go to the grocery store the day he gets paid, stocking up, and keeping the kitchen clean enough to cook in every night. Some weeks are better than others, but when we do go to the grocery store, we feel a lot better about ourselves, health-wise, and money-wise!
