The Goodness in Every Person

Whenever I watched shows like "Wish Ko Lang", wherein the show makes the letter sender's wishes came true, I am always caught misty-eyed. If I can't control myself, tears would really run down my cheeks (and they happen, at times. LOL)*cry-baby* hehe..:p
I salute these people who extend their hands in their own ways to reach out to those unfortunate ones, or to those with simple dreams - which if given the chance to make them come true, it tantamounts to "gazillion" smiles and happiness to the person they helped!:) This loving act of kindness gives me hope that, indeed, there are still people here on earth who believe in kindness and humanity.:)

I know how it felt like to be the one in need - both in material and emotional aspects - and it always warms my heart whenever somebody would provide what I needed. I am just*paying forward* the goodness I experienced and received from chosen people I have known and met in my life by giving what I also have.:)

I just want to tell everyone here that being good is a matter of choice. I know that life is a chaotic-complicated world and we got lots of questions we need an answer. But I do hope, that in our search for the answers, we instill within us the goodness and compassion towards another human being.
Let's set a good example, and by then, who knows, by being such, we can influence other people to be good, as well.:)

That show is really meant for one purpose, to help people in need. I believe that everyone has "goodness" in their hearts, others just don't know how to show it. Others, only choose those they want to help, which is also not a good choice. Because everybody deserves a helping hand, may they be from the lowest of the low lifes.
We should change our views towards helping, it could be from many ways and not to be used just for a show.

In fact it's real that good people are out there. a year ago i had accommodation problem and just a day i met another foreigner on Easter day , they got to know of it, the second day i had a call from them giving an apartment to live in. you see how people can do really good to others without ever knowing them before.
i met another person in the church the first time and she took me out shopping and dinning, it was so wonderful and that made me to be committed to God and love, do good to others irrespective of race, age, colour and what have you.
Another travelled about 500km to introduce me to an empolyer without any comission or whatsoever, just on humanitarian grounds.
so i've been praying and striving to do good to others who actually can't pay back or to those who are in need.
it's really wonderful when you meet kind hearted people, willing to help without the need of paying back. God fearing people are there, good people, generous people and above all loving people irrespective of who you are. God bless and help us help those in need.

Hi fredgame! It's nice to meet somebody like you who had been helped and really appreciated the efforts, compassion and love that others have shown to you. :) If we work hand in hand to set out good example to others, then surely we'll be able to touch other's lives and hopefully, they will also forward the goodness they received to other human soul. :)

Hi sr0415! I feel so happy and touched with those kind of shows. They inspire us to be more good on others. You have such a good heart dear. I really hope you will never change and keep on having that beautiful heart of yours. I do admire shows like that which can reach out and help a lot of poor people and being united with their families too. I hope their tribe ncrease because we realy need more people genuinely interested in helping others. If all people will care and do something about it, then this will be a beautiful place to live in.
