chevy and chevolet

I don't konw the brand chvolet very much.So I can't defferentiate chevy and chvolet.Who can tell me they are one or two.Why???

Lol well actually it is one company. Chevy is the short from for chevrolet but most people will only say chevy if it is a truck. And the famous company corvette was also started by chevrolet.
