I can not remember when was the last time I went to the cinema theater to watch movies. I guess the last was....hmmmmmm... really can't remember.
But, I love buying cds and dvds for me to watch on my player or laptop and view them on the weekend. Or if my mind is not full thinking of my work for the next day, I can watch after dinner for me to find sleep.
What about you? Where do you watch? Especially now that cinema fees are getting higher and could not watch it more than once.

I rarely go to a cinema. I think the last movie I saw in the big screen was "The Cars." And all my life I can still count in my left and right hand fingers how many times I've gone to the theater house and I can also enumerate what movies I saw. LOL!
On the contrary, I'm a sucker of DVDs. Most of the time I borrow or rent them and if it's something I want to watch over and over I buy a VD instead.
I collect musical movies like Phantom, sound of music, and the likes. I also collect documentaries, real-life stories, and literatures like "Merchant of Venice, Odyssey.
I prefer watching in the comfort of my home because if there's something that I missed I could wind it back. another thing that I love about DVDs is the special features like commentaries, deleted scenes, and the making. After knowing more of the background of the movie I find it more interesting to watch it again and see the result of the effects they did during the making.

I haven't been to see a movie in the theater in a long time. When my son was a baby we used to go see movies at a local place that would do Cry Baby Matinees. This place would supply diaper changing tables at the front of the theater and keep the lights dimmed instead of all the way off so we could see to move around. Also they would not play the movie as loud as some babies could not sleep with the volume so loud.
But once he became a toddler it was no longer an option. For one thing, the movies were very definitely for adults and not children so I couldn't take him once I started feeling like he was actually taking in some of what was happening on the screen.

i'd prefer watching movies in theaters and movie houses coz i can appreciate them better, see all the deatils and feel more of it throught the big screen.. but there are a lot of movies that i missed because maybe i was too busy, or not much interested then so i just watch them at home on dvd or on cable movie channels.
sometimes i get really disappointed when i missed out on a real good movie. like transformers, i really wanted to see this movie on the big screen but unfortunately i couldnt. so i just bought a dvd and truly the copy was a bit not good and i really couldnt appreciate it although i know it was such a good movie!

I watch movies both on the cinema and at home, it depends on the movie. If its a normal movies like drama or comedy and stuff like that I will buy DVD and watch at home. However if its movie that needs a good surround system, then I will watch in the cinema as my house just have a normal sound system ehehhe
I also love asian movies, the series ones, like Korean or Chinese movies, that I will watch in my own house of course :)

I do both. The last movie we went to see was me and my daughter went to see Shrek the Third. We were both depressed about my husband leaving for Iraq, so we wanted to get out of the house. Most often we will rent movies off of our pay per view movies on cable.

I love watching movie at the comfort of our home. I love it we're watching (the gang) at the same time, although we can do that in theater but it's a lot cheaper when you buy a CD/DVD and watch it over and over again.

I like watching movies in my home. It's just more comfortable and WAY cheaper. Plus, when my family and I can't agree on a movie, for the same price it is at the theater for one ticket, we all can get our own at the movie store.

I don't watch movies on theaters that much. I only doing it when I'm malling with my family or friends. But it happened only occasionally. I don't watch television also that much. I dunno why. maybe I was just brought up this way. My leisure are more of handswork, thinking, and reading.
