Ok its not what you think lol. I'm just wondering how many people while in the middle of doing their thing on the toilet sit and talk to their spouse or friends or whoever is in the bathroom or house. I admit that I've been guilty of talking on the phone while sitting on the toliet. For some reason though I get freaked out if someone is in the bathroom with me while I'm talking to them, its like I can't concentrate on what I'm doing. So how many of you practice potty talk?

I'm guilty!! LOL I don't talk on the phone while I'm on the toilet though. I always hang up before I go. But I have talked to my hubby before while I was on there. And my son walks in there all the time (he is 16 months) and I'm constantly having to tell him to get out of the bathroom drawers. He thinks it's funny because I can't reach him to make him stop when I'm on the potty. LOL

LMAO, I know that feeling all to well. When mine were that small they would do the same thing. My daughter use to come in and stand right next to me. The moment I started to move she went for the toilet paper like she was going to do it for me lol.

Count my wife and I amoung the potty talkers. We have been married for 35 years. We don't even bother to close the door so we can continue to talk. Afterall, don't they say married couples need to constantly communicate?

LOL, sometimes we close the door but thats only if I'm in there or if he's taking a poop cause he smells rotten. We'll talk through the door for the most part. A lot of times we talk while I'm in the bathroom its cause we were watching tv and I want to know whats going on.

My husband does that all the time when I am in the bathroom. He just comes in and says what he has to say. Waits for me to reply and even starts conversations. When he is there, he is wise enough to lock the door so that I cannot disturb!

I do it only in case of an emergency..like the call isn't done and I really have to go! Recently though I was in a stall in a public bathroom and someone goes in the next one. First I hear...hello..hello...so I answered Hello....thinking that stall might have been out of paper or something..she say hello again......and how you doing...I answered. It totally took a few minutes before I realized she was on a cell phone...How red was I? LOL

I tried to avoid potty talk if possible. First, it diverts my attention. Second, imagine you fart in the middle of the conversation and the other party hears it.

ROTFLMAO.. wow that would be funny. With my spouse I don't think it would matter if I farted but I think my mom or sister would find it funny.

LOL. what a discussion topic. to be honest with you, i prefer to be alone whilst in the potty. that is kind of my private time. it really is the only place i can go to get away from the kids. they don't usually bother me in there. lol. the wife, on the other hand......so when she is in there chatting with me about who knows what, i do talk. otherwise i like to read. i rarely, if ever, talk on the phone. just doesn't seem appropriate. it will be interesting to see other responses.

You know I think thats how it is for most men. I think women are the one's more likely to carry on conversations with people while on the pot lol.

I can't talk to anyone while I'm going to the bathroom. I wouldn't be able to concentrate on what I'm doing lol. I would especially feel weird if I was on the phone and they could hear what I was doing lol.

My husband's the guilty one. He talks all the time when he's in there-or tries to start a conversation when I am. Drives me nuts! Last thing I need is someone standing right outside the door at that particular moment, lol. It's bad enough that the cats know how to open the door...

I have talked to someone on the phone while I am on the toilet. If I or my boyfriend is in the bathroom were are there by ourselves I don't go in the bathroom and talk to him if he's on the toilet and vice versa. Sometimes if I have something to say while I'm on the toilet I will talk to him through the door. Sometimes I have to call him in to get me toilet paper if it ran out and he'll do the same.

Every day! If it's not my hubby, then it's my sister, or someone on the phone with me. My husband jokes that my sis and I just can't stop talking, not even to go to the bathroom, he seems to be a little bothered by it really. Usually if he's the one in there and I am trying to talk to him he'll shut the door, tell me to take a number and wait a minute. But I've noticed most of the women I know all continue a conversation without even caring that they are in the potty!

Since we live in a small apt., I don't normally close the bathroom door while peeing or doing my "thing", so sometimes I talk to my hubby while doing those things and I feel comfortable doing that.
I don't have any problem if my hubby's for example brushing his teeth in the bathroom and I'm doing my "thing" on the toilet seat. I can do it just fine. However, it only applies to my hubby. I don't think I can do that if anyone else's in the bathroom he he he...
