Hello!
This sounds silly and funny, but I do actually miss being a student...YES! I miss being a student..those school years*hayy* Sometimes when i'm tired from work's pressure I would say to myself, I wish i'm back to being a student again...[careful what you wish for..*hehe*].
I miss the allowance or pocket money day! and asking for some extra to my father, giving him my cute-daddy's girl face which I know he couldn't resist! LOL!. Remember those knee socks?*hihihi* hated them as my legs have funny shape. The teenage crushes and the giggling sounds we make when we talk about them. Sitting at the back, pretending to be reading a book but actually reading Danielle Steel or Sidney Sheldon's pocketbook. The school activities such as field trips, sporstfest, prom night and so on....don't you just miss them? I do!*hihihi*
I hate waking up early but I always look forward to it as i'll see my classmates/friends again. We always have stories to tell and gossips to share about each other. Exams!? ohhh...the cramming.. preparing for the examination day,[I could still feel the pressure*hihihi*]. It was always fun in our laboratory subject, as we got to play with chemicals, make tablets, syrups, we even dissected leaves, cat, frogs and the best of all studied human anatomy..how amazing!
But what I really miss of all are my friends, the times I laughed and cried with them. Some i've lost contact, some I still communicate with and some I dunno. Sometimes it's nice to reminisce and recollect past experiences and events especially the fun ones. It makes me appreciate life more and how beautiful it is. I'm so lucky to have met all those friends/classmatess and I will cherish the years I had shared with them.*smile*

DOn't you guys miss your school years also? the years when you were still a student....
What is it that you miss about school? of being a student.....

I always missed school because I missed having projects to do. Not like boring homework or anything but actual projects. Like when I was in 9th Grade Biology we had to make DNA. I still have a scar from the hot glue! I loved doing that stuff.
I actually just started school again, college online, TODAY! So yay! Now my school memories can and will be CURRENT!

That's great that you started school again, i've been thinking about it actually but we'll see.... anyways, goodluck to being a student again...have fun! take care *smile*

Yeah. projects and such were fun. I even liked writing papers and research and stuff. I was really a nerd. The hot glue was pretty hot, as it's uh...hot glue. ha ha. It melts so you can put it on stuff and if it spills you have to wait for it to dry before you can take it off. so when it fell on my hand i couldn't take it off until it dried and it pulled off my skin...so it scarred.
thanks about school :)

I miss those days too, especially when you get commentded without even knowing it. I have lots of those, but never do I take them all inside my head. My teachers always guide me, especially when they see me doing good in class and even on other extra curricular activities.
I remember one time that I am not much into chemistry classes. But evertime I raise my hand, I have always answer them correctly. Yes, I don't study that much but I guess it's because I have a sharp photographic memory back then!LoL I am not a teacher's per though, but I do finish all of the projects they assign to me.
I dearly miss going to school, especially when you're the very first (pioneers) of that school!;) The teachers, school employees and mostly my classmates that I wish to see someday soon..

Yeah, it is nice to receive good comments from your teachers I used to get lots of those too. I dunno if i'm a teacher's pet but my friends/classmates used to tell me that I am. Am not always on the top but i'm always an officer, when it comes to academics i'm pretty good, but i'm not a nerd eh..*hehe*.
You said, "I have a sharp photographic memory back then", does it still work? LOL! take care

Hello fab315!(",)
I'm so glad to see this discussion of yours because I thought I'm the only one feeling this way. I often tell my students to enjoy being a student and do to good because for sure they will miss it. I miss being a student wherein your only concern is studies. Now that I'm working, I feel that the responsibilities are big and I have to do my best to meet what is expected of me. I feel that I wasn't that prepared to step in the real world.
I'm continuing my education this time so that I can still feel being a student but it wasn't quite the same as in the undergraduate course. Now, I can't ask for money to my parents anymore. I have to do things on my own.
I can say that I missed it because I had fun and really enjoyed every moment of my elementary, high school and college life.(",)
Great day and God bless!(",)

Yeah, when we were still a student, life then was so simple, the worries and problems we encountered were only minor ones unlike what we're facing now. Before we rely unto our parents for survival, now we rely and work to survive...work to earn money, no more allowance and no more parents to give us money [sometimes...*hehehe*]. It is really important for the students now to have fun and make the most out of their student life coz you only become an elementary, high school & college student once...you may go back but it's not the same anymore..true. Goodluck to your studies...that's really good thing. take care *smile*

Highschool days are really fun... thinking about the good old days when the only concern is making it through the day with your friens, homework, school work... it seems like the problems that we encountered then were nothing compare to the one that we are encountering now...
Looking back... life was so easy then... i miss it also...

Yeah, good old days, no worries..well the only worries was to get good grades *wehehe* back then we were still innocent, so dependent to our parents and not on our own...now, we're on our own....facing life's problems, this time bigger and tougher. Take care *smile*

LOL! I did a lot of naughtiness when I was student, as a matter of fact I know my parents knew about it, they just let me sometimes because when it comes to my grades and academics i'm very good, a good student. *wehehe* Guess, I just knew how to balance my student life.
Ohh...don't say that my story is lively and better than yours, am pretty sure you got some interesting stories to share too..*wink* take care
